Speak Out to Defend WBAI! Upcoming Events

A faction at WBAI (variously called "ACE" and "independents") has sued WBAI, thus stopping the board election from being completed before votes could be counted. They're using this suit -- which seeks to stop additional qualified voters from participating -- and unsubstantiated charges against progressive Black community activists as part of an effort to illegitimately take control of the station (for details, see http://www.justiceunity.org).

We urge you to come out to the following wheelchair-accessible public events and speak out to protect your station and the right of all members to vote. Let this racist and unscrupulous opposition know that you won't turn back! Mark your calendars.
